Live Start Page - How meditation can improve your day
Meditation is an effective relaxation and concentration exercise that frees your mind from unnecessary thoughts and anxieties, calming and bringing the body back in balance.
Regular meditation practice improves mood, teaches you to relax and avoid responding to stress, helps you fight bad habits, strengthens the will and character, and improves concentration and memory.
There is no magic to meditation. It’s just an exercise, the purpose of which is not to acquire “superpowers” but a healthy body, mind, tranquility, harmony, and happiness—everything that people lack today.
We recommend that you meditate at least twice a day: 15–20 minutes in the morning and in the evening. In the morning meditation will shape your mind, boost your energy, and prepare for the day, and in the evening it will help remove stress, fatigue, irritating thoughts, and worries. Best advice? Don’t miss a single session. Let meditation become your daily habit.
Everyone can dedicate 30–40 minutes a day to their own well-being. Many complain about the lack of time and use this fact to find an excuse for not taking care of themselves, for example, through sports or meditation. Meditate for yourself, not for someone else. Meditation is aimed at achieving personal happiness and harmony. And it’s neither expensive nor time-consuming. It’s free and takes only 40–60 minutes of your precious time! Is that too great a cost to achieve great results?
How to meditate right?
You don`t necessarily need to get into the lotus position or know mantras. It might seem unbelievable, but even in the office or at home you can try meditation as a way to calm your nerves, release your emotional and physical stress, and boost your own productivity. All you need is the Live Start Page in your browser—a beautiful “live” image, soothing meditative music and commentary by a professional psychologist. All this will help you clear your mind, awaken your inner energy, and fully open your intuition.
Try to relax as much as possible before meditation.
Keep your back straight and make sure you are comfortable. The back should not be tilted forward or backward. Straight back position helps the air to pass through the lungs with ease so that you can breathe easily and maintain awareness because meditation is the balance at the edge of relaxation and inner tone. Meditation is not just a relaxation technique—as many think—but also a method of observation of the mind, a way to develop mindfulness.
Complete peace of mind and absolute calm inside, meditation doesn’t take much time, so try to focus specifically on relaxation, get rid of all superfluous thoughts, and move to the background all your affairs, troubles, problems, and issues. You`ll deal with everything later. Right now your goal is to completely reboot.
